The great Cyclops encounter

      Hi guys its me Odysseus and today I had one heck of an encounter. I saw a cyclops! Believe me this was not any form of a kind cyclops. It all started when the current took us off course to the Cyclopes island. We had no clue what we were getting into.
      We climbed up and up and up until we reached the cave of Polyphemus. We asked the giant beast if he would accept us as guests. In reply he closed his cave, and ate some of my men. I prayed to athena to help me find a way out of this nightmare. We sat and waited for the plan. We were worried and anxious.
     She gave me a brilliant idea that might help me escape. The idea was to take a log that was sitting in the cave sharpen it, heat it, and stab the giants eye out. We took some whine and offered it to the blundering fool. He took several swigs and passed right out. This was my chance i took a log and sharpened it. My men and i took the log, heated it, and stabbed the giants eye out.
