Penelope's Test

Hi I am back again, O here. It has been a long time since I have seen Penelope, I miss her so much. When I first got back, Athena made me look handsome and younger. Penelope, I can't believe you didn't recognize me at first. I have been gone for 20 years and I couldn't believe you weren't happy to see me.  I heard you tell your maid to put the bed outside in the hallway. Now I am getting mad, who dared to move my bed, there is no way unless a god moved it. There was no way to do it because I built the bed around the tree, as we both know! Penelope finally knows it's me now, I am so happy this is bringing tears to my eyes. We hug each other tightly, and we are so happy to be back together again.

The Ending

Hey guys, Odysseus here this will be the last time you will here from me. I'm finally home and living in peace. I was reunited with my father a year after I killed all of the suitors, so I had time to regain all of the food and wine they consumed while I was gone. After I repossessed all of the items they stole from me, I asked Athena to make peace between me, my family and the relatives of the slain suitors.  Everybody in my kingdom rejoiced that I was finally home. While rejoicing I had so much fun that I forgot my dog Argus died. So after 2 months of partying I was so sad that I had to go buy a dog that looked just like Argus. I renamed my new dog Argus Jr. When he was older Telemachus and I took Argus Jr. to go hunting and we killed 20 deer. When we returned we celebrated with a big feast because it was the first hunt of the year. After 20 years of being home Penelope and I died happy together. My kingdom was handed down to Telemachus and his beautiful wife.

Odysseus' Revenge

Hey, Odysseus here.
I come home to several suitors at my home, the first reaction I have is to shoot them all. Well the first one I shoot is Antinous and then all the others come to me and try to make peace but I don't allow it so I shoot them and kill them all. I do not like the fact that there are several suiters in my home. It makes me very worried and I come to conclusions very fast. But I know the only way to take care of this is to shoot them all. Peace out till next time!

Penelope

Hey everyone! O. checking in again. I'm so pumped I'm finally home after 20 long years. I had to dress like a beggar so nobody would recognize me as Odysseus. My wife, Penelope, had heard me and one of the suitors fighting. She wanted to talk to me to see if I had seen or heard from O. on his journey. When I approached the beautiful Penelope, she bombarded me with questions about myself and where I come from, and if I have family. I completely ignored what she asked me and just complimented her and told her that my heart is sore and I could not find myself weeping in another's house. I asked her why she didn't go off and marry one of the suitors. She then explained, saying she felt that Odysseus was still out there and alive. After she explained, she asked me about Odysseus. I lied, said that her husband will be home soon and that he alive and well.

The Challenge

Hey guys it s Odysseus, I am back  home and I am glad to be back. Penelope  says that she will marry a man who can shoot Odysseus bow through 12 axhandle sockets. The suitors tried and they failed. I asked if I could have a turn and they gave me a turn. I took my time with the bow. the suitors thought that I would not make it through the 12 sockets holes. I proved them wrong. I strung the bow back and shot through all 12 sockets. When I made the arrow through all 12 sockets they had a  feast that I joined. That is till next time.

The Suitors

Odysseus here again! Today I went to my house as a beggar after I saw my dog and he died. As part of the plan I ask Antinous, one of the suitors, for bread. He told me no. I spoke my mind out this and told him he was fat and selfish. He is not to happy about this. He hit me on the shoulder with a stool. Penelope has heard this ruckus and is coming down the stairs. Penelope tells Eumaeus to get me, she wants to talk to me. I'll let you know what goes down. O out!

Argus

Hey everyone, It's Odysseus back with an update! Alright, so far I've returned to the outside of my palace to find my poor old dog, Argus, lying on a manure pile by the gate. Grief washed over me as I looked at Argus with his sad eyes but happy tail waving at me. I trained him as a puppy but never got a chance to take him hunting before I left for Troy. He's not been treated well i could see. As I viewed him there helpless I could see see flies eating him alive. No longer possessing strength to even come to me. My dear friend, Eumaeus, has told me a hunter owned him 'til he passed away. While gazing at poor, old Argus, He died right before my very eyes from sheer excitement of seeing his owner after 20 years of loneliness.
